A look back at the 2020 PCIM Asia Conference
Last year’s edition of the PCIM Asia Conference attracted a total of 298 onsite attendees, 144 online attendees, whilst 61 conference papers were presented during the oral and poster sessions. Amongst the discussions during the conference were the latest hot issues affecting the power electronics industry, cutting-edge technologies, the latest scientific achievements and academic research, and developments on the future prospects of power electronics.
The conference has always brought together a variety of presenters from all over the world. The 2020 edition welcomed 67 expert speakers from a range of countries and regions including China, the US, Canada, Germany, Greece, the UK, Switzerland, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and others. From these, 39 speakers came from companies including Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, ABB Power Grids, DiscoverEE, Fuji Electric, Delta Electronics (Shanghai), Infineon and more, while 28 were academics from institutions such as Tsinghua University, University of Sheffield, Osaka University, University of Toronto, Aristotle University of Thessalonik and Shanghai University, among others.
